John Kiriakou is a former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) officer and whistleblower who was involved in the agency's interrogation program. He is known for his role in publicly revealing the CIA's use of waterboarding and other "enhanced interrogation techniques" against suspected terrorists. Kiriakou joined the CIA in 1990 and served in various roles, including as a counterterrorism officer.
